"BDSec" (BDS) JSC, listed in Category I of the Mongolian Stock Exchange, has presented its operational and financial results for the first half of 2022.
During the reporting period:
• The total assets of the company reached MNT 23.3 billion, which is an increase of 18.3 percent from the same period last year.
• "BDSec" JSC has distributed MNT 50 per share from the net profit of 2021 as a dividend to its shareholders. As a result, it was ranked 3rd after "APU" and "Ard Insurance" JSCs in terms of dividend yield among Class I companies of the Ministry of Finance.
Highlights of "Bi Di Sec" JSC's broker and underwriting activities:
- In terms of securities trading, the company completed a total of MNT 98.7 billion.
- Open bonds of "Erdenes Tavantolgoi" JSC up to 2 trillion MNT were offered to the public, and a total of MNT 1.1 trillion was collected since April 2021. Also, in May 2022, the floating rate bonds of "Erdenes Tavantolgoi" JSC were issued. MNT 76.6 billion was collected as a public vote.
- MNT 18.7 billion was collected through the first tranche of closed bonds of "Khuren Tolgoi Coal Mining" LLC linked to MNT and USD-TIG exchange rates.
- "KHAAN Bank" LLC was selected as an underwriter and signed an agreement in May 2021, and submitted the bank's securities prospectus and other related materials to the Bank of Mongolia, the Central Bank of Mongolia and the Ministry of Finance within the legal period, on April 21, 2022.
- "We" have received permission to offer to professional investors in the over-the-counter market by acting as an underwriter in the process of attracting MNT bond financing in the over-the-counter market of NBFI.
