The “Billion Tree” national campaign has been initiated by Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, the President of Mongolia, in order to reduce the impact of global climate change, protect and increase forest and water resources, and contribute to ecological balance.

The Mongolian Stock Exchange joined the “Billion Tree” national campaign and planted trees in the 24th khoroo of Songinokhairkhan district of Ulaanbaatar. At the the opening ceremony, Altai. Kh, CEO of the Mongolian Stock Exchange noted that "Mongolian stock exchange is happy to join the campaign and take part in fight against global warming adn ecological issues, we will focus not only on the planting, but also on taking care of the planted trees to grow."
