On July 9th 2014, Angar D the acting CEO of Mongolian Stock Exchange met with , Azjargal U, the deputy representative of European Bank of Reconstruction and Development to discuss about the future development of capital market.
During the meeting, European Bank of Reconstruction and Development was suggested to acquire products from the Mongolian stock market and introduce their shares to the European market. As of today EBRD has invested around $1 billion in the Mongolian stock market.
