In recent years, there have been capital raising activities by certain entities whose entitlement to the appropriate securities licenses are unclear. Through their websites and social media, they have repeatedly raised funds from citizens and legal entities by offering “guaranteed bonds” on OTC markets.

The above activities have given the public a perception that these bonds are approved by legal organizations operating under the Mongolian capital markets.

Therefore, as a self-regulatory organization that must protect the interests of its member securities firms, Mongolian Stock Exchange has requested the Financial Regulatory Commission to examine the above activities and provide the public with reliable information.
