INFORMATION-SHARING MEETING ON “SECURITIES MARKET TRENDS AND THE POLICIES AND ACTIVITIES OF THE FINANCIAL REGULATORY COMMISSION” HELD

Mr. B. Dulguun, Director of the Securities Department at the Financial Regulatory Commission of Mongolia, delivered a presentation today (July 2, 2026) to the management and specialists of the Mongolian Stock Exchange on the topic of “Securities Market Trends and the Policies and Activities of the Financial Regulatory Commission.”

During the session, the regulatory authority also shared insights on how it is defining the development direction of the capital market, as well as the strategic outlook for Mongolia’s capital market development, including international and regional cooperation prospects.

In addition, detailed information was provided on:

  • A five-year overview of the capital market

  • Diversification of capital market products

  • Development of the over-the-counter (OTC) market

  • Tax environment, legal reforms, and regulatory updates in the capital market

  • The Financial Regulatory Commission’s strategic plan through 2030

At the conclusion of the meeting, Mr. D. Munkhbat, Interim CEO of the Mongolian Stock Exchange, stated:

“The Financial Regulatory Commission, as the capital market regulator, plays a critically important role in the core operations of market infrastructure institutions such as the exchange. Therefore, it is essential that we align our policy directions and work closely together. On behalf of the Mongolian Stock Exchange, I would like to express our sincere appreciation to the leadership and staff of the Financial Regulatory Commission for their continued support in facilitating the introduction of new initiatives and products within the legal framework.”
