The implementation of the Law on Mining Products Exchange on June 30, 2023, allowed the "Mongolian stock exchange" JSC to commence trading commodities with a special license from the Financial Regulatory Commission.

As a result, the trade of iron ore was organized on September 15, 2023, followed by the launch of the acid spar concentrate trade in October 2023. During this period, three auctions were scheduled, with the first one taking place yesterday, on June 7, 2024. At this auction, the buyer purchased 67 lots, or 4,355 tons, of CaF2-95% acid spar concentrate from "Mongolrostsvetmet" SOE for a total of 1,567,800 USD or 5,301,876,294 MNT.
