According to articles 46.1 and 46.5 of the Company Law, the Board of Directors of a joint-stock company shall decide the matter of paying dividends within 50 days of the end of the financial year and subsequently notify the shareholders of their decision.

As of February 22, 2024, a total of 90 joint-stock companies have submitted their decision on whether to distribute dividends.

Among them, 40 joint-stock companies have submitted a decision to distribute dividends totaling 799.22 billion MNT from the net profit of 2023, and the Mongolian Stock Exchange has announced this information to the public, providing details for each company.

The dividend amounts of joint-stock companies have been compared for the last 3 years:

• In 2022, 41 joint-stock companies distributed a total of 157.87 billion MNT as a dividend.

• In 2023, 38 joint-stock companies distributed a total of 653.2 billion MNT as a dividend.

• In 2024, 40 joint-stock companies decided to distribute a total of 799.22 billion MNT as a dividend.

In comparison to the previous year, joint-stock company dividends increased by 22.35 percent.
