FORMER BRITISH POLITICIAN, LAWYER, AND INVESTOR GERALD MALON VISITED THE MONGOLIAN STOCK EXCHANGE

Gerald Malone, a distinguished former politician of the United Kingdom (UK), who has also served as a former Minister of State for Health, lawyer, and investor, recently visited the Mongolian Stock Exchange.

During the meeting, Kh.Altai, the Chief Executive Officer of the Mongolian Stock Exchange, provided an update on the current state of the capital and commodities markets. Additionally, he discussed the potential for investment in the capital market and engaged in a productive exchange of ideas regarding future development.

Gerald Malone is a Scottish lawyer who had a distinguished career in politics. From 1983 to 1997, he served as a UK politician and was a member of the House of Commons Energy and European Select Committees. Mr. Malone was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party and later served as Minister of State for Health in John Major's government.

In 2001, Mr. Malone joined the board of Aberdeen Asia-Pacific Income Fund (FAX), a US closed-end mutual fund, and was subsequently appointed Chairman in 2005. He currently chairs five other US funds, both closed and open end, with a focus on equity or income. Additionally, he serves on the board of a Canadian closed-end fund and is a director of the Mutual Fund Directors Forum in Washington DC.
